It is free, and its amazing to be able to lean in and peer into the ship, even when it isn't open
I think some people need to do some research, Sony were developing VR years before before Oculus.
Isn't their new Game Detroit supposed to support VR in some way?
As for Batman, I loved this game, my favourite VR experience so far, the only problem is it is relatively short and left me wanting more.
I would like to see this bought to the west, hopefully in English, not subtitled
I loved this game, there were moments when I was the batman, short but very sweet.
VR takes Horror to a new level, there is a video on youtube, Black guy plays Until Dawn VR, it's hilarious, especially as he starts all brave and cocky.
Can't say I have had any issues like this, I use the old camera, but so far it works as advertised.
I'm sorry for the guys who are having problems.
It adds a new dimension to the gaming experience, I played Until Dawn and have finally got to the last level, takes creepy to a level that would be impossible on a normal TV.
There are moments when you are in VR that the possibilities really hit you, it's a truly immersive experience, the possibilities for the tech in the future are mind boggling, VR is here to stay thats for sure.
I think the cream will always rise to the top, if these devices offer a quality VR experience they can build momentum, if they offer nothing special then others will rise.
I don't really think you can call Phone VR true VR, at least not at the moment, I think PSVR compares very well with the VIVE ect, there are plenty of Vive owners saying they prefer the PSVR.
TheColbertinator it's hard for me to comprehend just how out of touch you are,
I have Gear VR, and it is in no way comparable to the PSVR experience, the screen door in Gear VR is terrible, with motion tracking you lack immersion, and the games are what you would expect from a phone, fun but ultimately limiting.
Things will improve, but phone gaming is a long way from PSVR.
Chris please provide a link, this is the first I have heard.
No worries I have found some info, it's not exactly saying a lot, it will be interesting to see how well it works, Sammarshall will be pissed
Of course it will be the most successful, it is the only viable VR solution for the masses price wise, it works well and has Sony's hardware and gaming expertise supporting it.
Of all the systems available PSVR makes the most sense for the mainstream.
I think word is out, PSVR is the real deal, out of stock and in demand, It really is a game changer.
Batman until dawn and the head masters
My 3 favourite VR games, be warned in Headmaster do not try and kick the balls in frustration if they bounce back towards you after missing the target, I have done that more than once.
I have never considered VR a fad, to me it is a natural evolution and not just of gaming, where PSVR fits into the great scheme of things long term remains to be seen, but it is in a great position to grab a large piece of the VR pie.
Is it worth the experience worth the money? well from my point of view absolutely, it really is a new frontier in gaming and the 3 guys I have shown it to, also think it's worth the money, even though they cant afford it they are eagerly ...
Motion sickness was one of my biggest concerns, as I suffer motion sickness, it has proved unfounded as most experiences have had little to no effect on me, there are a few, but I stear clear and enjoy what VR has to offer, which has to be seen to fully understand the game changer it is.
How long before we see summarshall or whatever his name is, pops in to comment on something he knows nothing about.
Mike I had a go at scavengers odyssey, couldn't get out the door lol. threw some boxes about, but gave up
As I have already stated my favourites have been Batman, Until Dawn Rush of Blood ( I dont think you would cope Mike) and Headmaster.
I'm excited for whats coming to VR, Star Trek already pre ordered
Kinect was a gimmick because it didn't do anything that couldn't be done just as well in other ways, in many ways Kinect's motion controls were more clumbsy than simply pressing a button on a control pad.
