Actually, it's the exact opposite of that. If games are sent out prior to release, it means that outlets are subject to review embargoes, meaning they can't publish a review until the publisher stipulates. With this current situation, IGN, Gamespot, Giant Bomb, and everyone else with some journalistic credibility will be competing with Joe Blow down the street that picked up a copy at his local Wal-Mart. Joe Blow is going to rush through the game and try to publish his review before t...
Doom, which turned out to be incredible.
I think this is a satirical site. They gave Doom a 4/10, Uncharted 4 a 2/10, and the Gears PC port a 10/10.
It's not perfect, unfortunately. The controller still needs to be updated through the Xbox One and it's necessary to hard wire the controller to make any customizations (button mapping, profiles, etc.). I'd hoped it would be much more seamless, but it's a small nit.
Yeah, that's my biggest barrier to digital distribution. I'm very worried my games will disappear into the ether in the next ten years, though the convenience outweighs the risks for me. I'm not understanding Sony's pricing structure on these games either.
I think it's pretty crazy that the PS2 Classics, purchased on the PS3, don't transfer over here. That's a pretty big insult to those that plopped down money last generation.
Well, another clickbait review. Anyone "suffering" through Fallout 4 definitely doesn't fall into the game's target demographic. Or they're looking for easy website hits.
And for the love of god, fix the typos!
Something fishy is going on-- Kotaku published the same thing a few hours ago...

What are the chances?
Nah, I was using a gamepad in the video. It's really twitchy looking.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm using a gamepad. I would never, ever play a racing game with a keyboard.
Just enjoy the video in 1080p! It still looks really damn good!
It's a gameplay video. Did you honestly think you could watch it and have NOTHING spoiled?
It's a problem with optimization (or Id Tech 5). In most games, I can get well over 60fps at 4K ultra settings. In fact, The Old Blood is the first game I've played that doesn't scale worth a damn. I'm sure they'll optimize it further, but right now, it kinda runs like crap.
But I agree with you that it's not cost-effective. The only reason I purchased the quad Titan X setup is for my website-- otherwise, I would have gone with a dual SLI.
A triple 4K monitor setup is not 12K. It's not even 8K. To reach true 8K, you'd need four 4K monitors.
I can't take this seriously when they repeatedly write "Voodoo Prince" instead of "Voodoo Vince."
It's small but the PSN servers seem super slow right now. I've got a blazing fast connection and I'm only pulling in about 1mbps. I had to uninstall and now I'm looking at a long wait. Oh well.
500MB? It's 4.48 GB for me.
If by "editor" you mean janitor, then yeah, I can see it.
I gave the reviewer the benefit of the doubt and gave the review a read. I'm sorry I did. It's one of the most illogical reviews I've read in a while. I'm all for opposing viewpoints and "outside-the-norm" reviews (everyone has a unique perspective, after all), but they need to be grounded in reality and reason.
It's clear the reviewer wanted (and expected) something that Capcom never promised. He dings the game because it's not the original...
Well, at least this article is only 5 months late...
