Wow I didn't realize my comment even gave the impression of whining...... All I said was it sucks.. and I just wondered why Euros get games later. For the record I live in WDC and will be able to get the game on the 17th.

I remember seeing little blurbs about Demon's Souls coming to NA after getting critical acclaim in Japan. I got it on release date and have been playing Souls games ever since.

I beat DB Paarl without even taking the witches out up top. Lead Elixers my friends...Lead Elixers. Hell I beat Eileen on my 1st try. Final Bosss....Wow... now that's a challenge. I got him down to 5% or so of his life last night and got taken out at the end. 0-4 so far on him. No worries tho, Bloodborne goes down tonite.
Matryr got me 4 times day before yesterday. Last night I came with blue elixers and took my time early to watch his moves instead of just going head to head. You don't have to parry just hit him twice then move out. 2 hit combos then dodge back.
Completed this quest last night. I promptly brought the queen back to life lol. Man I took out Matryr, the Alien Boss, Eileen and the one boss with the cage helmet. Last night was a good night.
I wonder if one can keep killing the queen then bring her back to life? If so does she yield blood echoes?
I have the Cane at 9+ and have BoM at 6+ I love the BoM but it is so brittle compared to the other weapons. The cane is just nasty and can keep you out of harms way.
I have been doing pretty good beating most bosses on my 1st 2nd or 3rd try. Then I get to Martyr Legarious... On my 4th try I had him down to maybe 5% of his life and I had all mine. Then the combo happened.... Needless to say I was done with Bloodborne for the night after losing that one lol.
My encounters with Boss fights have been that I may lose once but beat them on my 2nd try. I just got bent over by Darkbeast but I honestly used a lot of vials to get to him through all of the poisoned/frenzied swamps. Im sure Ill get him next time. Father G I beat on my 4th try. So far I think Ive beat about 5 bosses in the main quest. I cleared the 1st dungeon (all bosses) and beat the fire boss in the 2nd (did lose to him once).
I highly doubt I will get this considering the Witcher is due out in May. I have Bloodborne and FF Type-0 to hold me over until then. I also have DS2 on PC so if I were inclined I would upgrade the PC version.
IGN is region based. I think what you've seen is other IGN regions reviews. This review above is North American I believe.
Although I consider myself a Souls veteran, it took me 4 attempts to beat Father G. Also took me 4/5 times to beat that Furry boss with the skull in his area. I've beaten all other bosses on my 1st or 2nd try since. I've beat at least 3 other main quest bosses and all 3 bosses in the 1st chalice dungeon. The fluid combat is so much better than the other Souls games. I never feel like a dodge or parry was a game glitch.
Definitely don't give up. Level up your sword/cane and gun and level up your character. Look at vids on how to defeat bosses if you cant do it by yourself. Also don't forget you can summon players to help you.
FYI a 6+ cane is pretty bad-ass. Excellent choice for a primary weapon.
I also beat her 1st go. I used the stairs to keep space between us. Works on a lot of tough characters.
