Yeah, they're knocking it out of the park with these reviews.
You might misunderstand my comment - I'm not sure. My point is that in a game like this, there are very rarely any events that would require the rendering of 5000 NPCs. Even a large event like an execution could use between 1000-1500 and still fill a public square. The most obvious case of an event needing 5000 is the storming of the Bastille.
I agree with you that, all things being equal, the ability to render 5000 active NPCs on screen is great. My point is that it'...
Shadow of Morder actually released before midnight EST. I logged on around 10 or 11 that night and the game was already available...
Well, I've yet to buy Watch Dogs and I won't be getting this for awhile.
I'm done buying their games early.
Seriously, why 5000 NPCs? That is completely unnecessary for any event other than, say, the storming of the Bastille.
Sure, but there were reports that Ubi had modeled at least some of the buildings, if not the entire region of Paris in the game, on a 1:1 scale.
Was there ever confirmation regarding the scale ratio between this map and the real Paris? I heard Notre Dame is 1:1, but I'm guessing that's not replicated across the entire play area.
"anymore"?
Wow...
Is there any concrete measurement of these maps yet? Are we talking bigger than Skyrim?
I've seriously considered that, but I just can't bring myself to miss the story elements in a series of this prominence. It's like Mass Effect: I skipped the first (back when it wasn't on PS3) and always regretted it.
My guess is "Yes".
My issue is the lack of a pc capable of playing the first :S I can't bring myself to play the second until I've played 1. So I'll probably have to wait until I get a gaming PC...in a few years. -_-
Really need to play the first two games to prep for this...
I have the same concern, but I'm hoping careful tweaking of the aim sensitivity can mitigate that to a degree.
Oh. My. God. I now want this version.
Well played, Rockstar.
Oh, it's coming out on PS3 too, isn't it. Totally forgot.
What about the Ultimate Collection?
A next-gen re-release of Fallout 3 (and also Skyrim???) would make up for no Fallout 4 on the horizon.
Same here. But be careful - DA2 got glowing reviews from the critics at first. It was only after release and the Metacritic reviews started flowing in that its reviews tanked.
