The only one of those I bought and played was LOTR: Conquest, and it was good, not great. Not really worth the money I plunked down. Surprised with the Fallout DLC, it looked awesome.
I could only imagine what playing online PS3 with this guy would be like:

Been playing horror games since RE1. Good list, even if I don't agree with it. Dead Space isn't scary at all, I loved it and it's an awesome game, but still, just wasn't scary for me.
The Silent Hills are creepy but not scary, but Silent Hill 2 is IMO one of the best old-school survival-horrors and deserved a spot on the list. Too_Hyped, I didn't mean that the RPG's on PS3 suck. Just that compared to what the 360 has on offer (I don't own a 360, mind you), the small PS3 RPG selection isn't cutting it. Not everyone likes strategy RPG's (like Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea 3) which is mostly what the PS3 has. And I did mention Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Eternal Sonata in my post. And your list is about it for RPG's on PS3. That list is too damn small, we need more.
And not all PS3's have backwards compatab...
I could care less if this is a "stolen 360 exclusive", as some people would say, I just want this because it's an RPG and the PS3 sucks (Fallout, Oblivion, and Eternal Sonata notwithstanding) for RPG's right now (compared to 360). I'll take any RPG's I can get. Hopefully this is true. I'd be more inclined to think it was a hoax if it read "PS3 gets Mass Effect!"
A sequel to Conker's Bad Fur Day would make me go out and buy a 360 arcade... (I loved the original that much).
All I know is that PSN is free... nothing against Live, but I don't think I would want to pay for it since I don't play a whole lot of online games.

Secondly, this article sucks. Alot of the points are moot and untrue. The PS3 has no games? Then what the hell are MGS4, Resistance 1+2, Killzone 2, LBP, the list goes on. Saying the PS3 has no games is saying the 360 has no games, because the last time I checked they have virtually the same lineup when it comes to 3rd party (except for the games that came out before the PS3 was out of course).

Bought Killzone 2 today just to support Sony and GG (I don't play FPS's that much), and because all the great reviews swayed me. I have a great new tv and an HDMI cable... and damn. This IS without a shadow of a doubt the best looking console game I've yet played. Stunning. And the gameplay is very solid.

Back in the day preordering was necessary (around where I lived big games would sell out Day 1 and be out of stock for days or weeks, like KOTOR or Ocarina of Time). But now-a-days? No, definitely not. I still preorder, but not as much as I used to since it seems that all the big games get way more copies than their gonna need.
No games on PS3? What in the hell have I been doing for the past year! I'm being serious, if the pS3 has no games, then I've been blacking out for extended periods of time and have no idea what I've been doing in this "lost" time...

5 RPG's? Damn, I like the sound of that. I liked Eternal Sonata, and even Enchanted Arms (not great, but not horrible either). The PS3 is missing a truly great J-RPG. It already has two great PC-style RPG's (Oblivion, Fallout 3), but sometimes I just want some random battles and over the top dramatics.
I didn't really like Folklore, which I found pretty surprising, considering I'm a huge fan of horror movies/games and that one seemed like it would be up my alley.

I've never personally unsderstood why 1 low review score gets people so ****** off. I haven't read the review, but I've read something that said it was just a few paragraphs with no real information (which to me seems like a bogus review in all honesty). Like when Twilight Princess came out and Gamespot give it a 8 or something and a good ammount of people were steaming mad, in a rage. I just didn't care. People have different opinions.

Nothing against Lost and the Damned but when the hell have PS3 owners been asking for this? I haven't heard a peep about PS3 gamers clamoring for Lost and the Damned. But if it did, I would probably pick it up. The only DLC I've heard PS3 owners complaining about wanting is the Fallout 3 stuff (myself included, it looks cool).
