While I do agree that Ubisoft makes the same game different location; the root of the problem lies with getting excellent reviews for it, lots of propaganda, awards, etc. Is not just Ubisoft but the majority of AAA (don't know why they're called like that) game developers/publishers have given up and is all about profit. They're notorious for endless DLC, microtransactions, etc. Which is why I stick to indie games
Back then games cost between $40-50 with map editors, free unlockables, alternate endings, branching paths, easter eggs and secrets for freeeee. Now is $60+microtransanctions+season pass+dlc on and on; the paying for one single game is over $100.00 more than games in the past with inflation included.
Excellent article, remember back in the day on how digital distribution was going to reduce the cost of making videogames. What happened to that. All I see is a bunch of greedy companies that want to hoard 💰
I only spent $320.00 tax included for NVIDIA RTX 260. That's what I really needed to upgrade my PC. It was in 2017 that I built my PC ( in one of my comments, I messed up the dates it was 2009 that I turned an office pc into a gaming pc which led to a very expensive experience).
2017 is when I did a full upgrade for my gaming PC:
Intel i-5 7600k 3.8ghz quad core processor with 4 virtual cores. VR ready
8gb of DDR4 RAM

This looks like a good game
Three is Valves' Vive along with many third party VR devices. No need, to bow down to Facebook VR crap.
I agree
I am confused regarding game prices. For one Xbox Series X game "The Medium" for $50.00 and Little Hope, I got it pre-release for $25.00. I strongly believe that there won't be games at standardized prices anymore. My dear is that game prices rise to $70.00 plus tax but still have to deal with microtransactions
I disagree, the biggest attraction to PC gaming has always been:
Cheap games
Mods
Absolute freedom to customize your gaming experience to the way you like. For me able to play with a mouse and gamepad at the same time cannot be done on consoles.
Freeee online gaming
Graphics not so sure unless you enjoy multiplatform games then yes I agree but sadly the vast majority of PC game exclusives look very retro com...
I agree/disagree. The biggest issue for me was blu-ray playback on PC. I ended up paying $50.00 to get it going and is difficult to access the blu-ray extras. I see what you mean. No, is not plug and play on PC when it comes to blu-ray player
Yes there's forced feedback on Xbox gamepads for PC 😃.
Is not that PC gamers cheat, is due to what type of controller/kb and m do they have or are they combining joystick with mouse. They may also have a better PC.
The gaming library on PC dwarfs console gaming library.
One thing is for sure, consoles will become gaming services starting with Xbox gamepass
My PC is like 5 years old bought the NVIDIA RTX 260. So far my PC will last me another ten years before I need to fully upgrade everything. Game devs have been left behind
On Steam is unlimited cloud saves
Free online gaming for freeee
Not really except Nintendo exclusives and PlayStation exclusives ( unless PlayStation Now is improved and runs like butter then you will not miss PlayStation exclusives).
All Xbox Series X games will be on PC and the upcoming new Halo game will be on Steam 😋.
Is the platform that brought new genres for the past console generations:
Survival games
Walking simulator games
Battle Royal games
MOBAS
Steam allows to save your games on a disc
These are the worst reasons to switch from console to gaming PC. Here are the real reasons to switch from console gaming to PC gaming:
1. Cast game library:
All Xbox One Series X games will be on PC 😍 and most of them will be available on steam like the new Halo game.
All multiplatform games will be available on PC.
2. Play with whatever gaming controller sitting on the couch in front of a tv, or traditional o...
For me PC for all the multiplatform games, Xbox Series X games, and some not all PlayStation Exclusives will be playable on PC. The plethora of games is only the beginning, this doesn't include vr/ar that will thrive on PC. Not to mention able to play PC games on the couch with a gamepad is not too bad........
The Xbox Series X is a hard sell for PC gamers for all Xbox Series X games will be available on PC and most likely on Steam. The biggest issue with consoles especially PlayStation/Xbox is the fact that are too PC like from having multiple versions, the firmware updates, game updates, etc. The other issue is more and more games are made multiplatform. Yes, still has more exclusives if you enjoy mmos, rts, mobas, and lots of indie games from very obscure game developers/publishers. The games t...
Not so sure about this, maybe I am old school
Agreed, those two games are not as popular not praised as their other games...
