I apologize--I didn't realize that Crash was one year older, but the game did release June 1, 1997 in the U.S. which would make it nearly 14 years old. But you're right about Crash, and again I apologize for the error. However, I did spend about three hours researching these two games, so everything else should be accurate.

I did not use Ryse as graphically I still felt the game was inferior, and wanted to focus more on a title that had more critical acclaim for its graphical capabilities. Plus I also wanted to use a game that was actually released, as it seemed a suitable comparison in graphical styles and the many other aspects that come with a game engine. Simply comparing two unreleased games didn't feel like it would hold enough practical substance.

This is one of my great concerns for this move by Nvidia. Just because you are capable of having a system with fantastic graphics, it's not a guarantee that developers can or will be able to match them.

That is also one of my greatest concerns for this title. Considering the emphasis that seems to be placed on the teamwork aspect of the game, i'm not sure how it would work for casual players or how the drop in, drop out mechanics would work.
As I said in the article it just seems a little too ambitious for its own good when added to the anarchic world of MMOs, but I really want this to work as a game and be a success.
