Warhammer: total war should fill that gap nicely. Plus, it's only a matter of time before they translate that to 40k, right?
I've often found that retro-style games are a bit too lacking in the story department. They've got to be pretty good on gameplay to make up for it.
I'm actually a huge fan of the franchise, bought every major release so far. I really really want to be proven wrong about this.
My main home gaming platform is a 5-year old netbook. I couldn't give two shits about resolution. I gave unity a had review because it played horribly and I didn't enjoy it. I'd love for them to prove me wrong; I want this game to be good. But right now, it just isn't.
And yeah, the Assassins Crud bit is baiting, but it made me laugh and it sums up what I thought of the demo.
I'd sincerely love to be proven wrong. But I probably won't be.
Man, Unity is such a frustrating game. If it wasn't for all the technical fuckups, it'd probably be my second favourite in the franchise, but god DAMN it is not an easy experience.
