I find this so odd. The price of everything is going up while wages stagnate. The economy isn't doing well only some businesses are doing well. Not saying someone could do a better job, but to say stocks are doing well is to say "well the tires don't have holes" when the car doesn't start.

Either way the current online service is extremely bad to the point where comparing it to any other competitor would make Nintendo look incompetent. Seriously I am almost certain there are no dedicated servers for any of their games. I know Smash brothers certainly isn't.
I really hope that after this game they are making they start working on another Infamous title. I think one of the main reasons they did not want to work on the series was simply because the PS4 was just not strong enough to create the visuals they were aiming to so with the series. This samurai game they are working on seems more fitting for them since they can make more life like humans while not having to go crazy with particle effects that the PS4 just can't do.

This game is looking amazing. New n Tasty was a great remake, but this is basically a reimagining. I really hope that they do a remake or reimagining of Munch's Oddysee. Without Munch I would have never known about this series. Some of the best games of my childhood and it looks like they are going to make some of the best games of my adulthood lol.
Well the article specifically is talking about the 8k support so there needs to be a more specific title. Obviously it will be impossible for a console to do native 8k gaming. There just isn't technology available for this yet. Most likely the console will support 8k movies and 8k upscaling which should be possible with the new hardware. We may think that publishers call all the shots, but that is not true. The PS5 should be powerful enough to run emulation for all previous Playsation consoles. I doubt that a PS4 game would even need emulated on PS5 since the hardware will just be a much more powerful version of the PS4. PS3 may be complicated, but at this point Sony should be able to emulate the cell processor. Regardless no new hardware should be required just powerful processing power.
This series was the reason I decided to get a PS3. Second Son was definitely the weakest entry in the series, but looking at Sucker Punches current project I would say the technology at the time really limited them in what they truly wanted to do. It is very obvious they just did not want to put anymore effort into feature that require more than a few lines of code. Most of the team has probably already moved onto the next project since this one did not do as well as expected.
Don't get me wrong open worlds are meant to be explored, but don't be ridiculous fast travel is important for games. Not everyone has time to sink 40-100 hours into one game with just exploring. Also fast travel is a choice. It can be really annoying and boring sometimes to travel from one place or another for little pay off. If you choose to not fast travel then that is totally fine and there is nothing wrong with it, but people still enjoy the feature.
$40 is not actually bad for a game. Grabbed this deal yesterday and I am enjoying it way more than expected. I enjoyed 5 so this is a cool take on the aftermath. I actually don't mind that they reused the map because we don't need a new map for every game all the time as long as the content is compelling. Also the map in 5 was huge so unless you sunk hundreds of hours into it you wouldn't have memorized it too well. At $20 this game is definitely a steal.
Banning someone for farming with an exploit to farm materials is ridiculous. The game does not even have PvP so no one should literally care at all. It gives you no advantage over other players so people should stop being upset about someone doing this. Also the game is not that good as is so who cares. I was just expecting this to look more like a new game than Sun and Moon at 1080p. Um... Yeah Destiny is still basically the same game it has always been. All the year 2 content for Destiny felt like the same "follow this path and defeat big monster at end" gameplay that Destiny is known for. Sure there are raids, but besides that there is nothing in terms of variety in Destiny 2. Tons of follow path and defeat big monster, but nothing else.
