I remember when I used to say that if there was a Halo 4, I wouldn't care since Bungie wasn't involved. Now, I can't wait for this game. The story looks solid, the multiplayer looks improved (no respawn delays). The only thing I am hesitant of is the online community since lately any online game has a plethora of angry people of all ages. Yeah, I could just mute the team but I play objectively and communication is the key. Anyway, looking forward to this game.
I'll stay with my Slim. That loading door on the new super slim makes me weary. I used to have the PS3 Fatboy and had forgotten how big it actually was until this video.
Happy Gaming.
I had intended to buy Dishonored on my PS3 despite feeling shafted with the DLC that was said to come to the PS3 after Xbox. I have both a PS3 and a Xbox and use my PS3 as the single player game system and Xbox for my multiplayer games. Anyway, seeing the ignorant attitude of this guy irritated me because he thinks that the gaming community is malleable after the nightmare that was Skyrim on PS3 (I enjoyed the game only after the MANY patches). Will I play Dishonored? Sure, but only when ...
I want to say that this makes me want to cancel my pre-order on Dishonored but will it truly make a difference? It's like gamers who have been jaded by the Modern Warfare series and it's various issues and have sworn off the series. Does Activision really care about the few when there are more than double of potential customers in the waiting? It used to be that companies cared beyond a simple press apology etc. What do I know? I am just a guy who spends my hard earned money on th...
I agree. Infinity Ward really dropped the ball on MW3 and the whole Elite memberships. I can only think of maybe three maps of the DLC that were actually good while the others lacked imagination that Black Ops DLC had. And then there were the Face Off maps. I felt ripped off that I was paying for maps that are only 1v1 to 3v3 only. I tried them and all I encountered were players who would camp, glitch out of the map or quit if I or my teammate were winning.
I wish I could say t...
Black Ops 2 story looks intriguing because of the way you can switch to different view points or the split path decisions that are in there. Plus, I like how even if you fail a mission, the player moves forward but has to face the ramifications for the failure. As for the online, I am liking that there is more emphasis on rewarding players who play the objective based game types. Granted, within a month after its release, we will see campers or players who are padding their precious k/d ra...
I was just mentioning popular titles that most little boys scoff at when they find out that a female plays.
I get into incredible conversations with female gamers regarding Skyrim, Metal Gear or even Deadlight. I don't understand why little and ignorant minds are seemingly the popular voice of the gaming world. It took years for gaming to be actually accepted as an adult medium and now we are facing the immature voices that are saying females shouldn't be playing this or th...
A gamer has no gender. A gamer games. Period. I know plenty of female gamers that spank at BF3, Halo and COD but they also hate it when other female gamers exhaust the "Hey everyone, look at me! I am a woman and I game!" routine.
Um...Can someone tell me how I can UN-SEE this? My mind's eye has been sullied.
I would have given more credit to the article if proper grammar was used. Add to the fact that the writer sounded like some kind of bored adolescent who needed to complain about something.
I think Uncharted could take a break, I loved part three for the story but it lacked those Whoa! moments that made Uncharted 2 so good. Plus, I was getting tired of Drake seemingly touching almost every wall as he moved.
I have cautious optimism for Halo 4 though Bungie isn't involved. ...
I play Hardcore all the time with the exception of clan ops. I don't have a tube on ANY classes, I have Blind Eye for one of my six classes. The rest are scavenger or slight of hand. The teams I play with are ALWAYS defending since we only play Hardcore Domination. And in my experience of playing Core TDM, I have to run around to actually find the other teams because of campers. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Core is for the weak since I really like Drop Zone or Team Defende...
I can't wait for this game. Unfortunately, I thought it was coming out this fall. Now I truly know sadness.
After reading her post, I would be hard pressed not to say that her words were derived from the backlash from her E3 stage hosting with Toby Turner. There is no way around it, it was a hot mess. The blame could be laid upon her and Toby and the lack of chemistry or it might have been the guy who wrote the "script" that failed more than the Nokia N-gage.
With her seemingly angry reaction, she is drawing attention to herself much like Jamie Kennedy did after his E3 nightmare...
I am really looking forward to this game. Between this and Resident Evil 6, I will be sleeping with one eye opened for a couple of months.
I got lucky toward the end of Reach when there were two Hunters standing guard. I discovered a rocket launcher on the previous catwalk and held onto it just in case. When I saw the saw the Hunters, I fired one rocket thinking that I would take one out. I stood there waiting for them to come looking for me and when I peaked around the corner, I saw that my one rocket had taken both down. I still can't explain why they went down so easily on Legendary. Halo 3 was hard when you had to r...
Once I had hit 10th Prestige, I didn't feel the need to go for 11th etc since there weren't any new titles that accompanied the new ranks. I now only prestige on Double XP weekends. It gives me something to look forward to.
I still want to buy one and almost did at launch but my instinct told me to hold out and wait for a price drop and a little more variety in Vita games. I think it's a solid machine but I think my patience will pay off.
Okay, now that kind of multiplayer is something I can get on board with.
Not every game needs multiplayer. The original BioShock had none and that was a GREAT game. The multiplayer in BioShock 2 was kinda neat at first because the mechanics of it reminded me of the online of the Sega Dreamcast.
With seemingly everyone trying to cheat in every online game, is it truly worth to buy a game that is single player motivated and then play the online to experience frustration because of cheaters or one brain celled mouth breathers that just learned how to curs...
In the video I watched recently, the game type of basically Domination had no delay when the player was killed. Nonetheless, thanks for the heads up.
