I miss that guy lol.
There's a link to an Xbox crashing right at the beginning of the article. Where's the bias? :D
It's a crash, I've seen it happen once at Paris Games week too, still with Battlefield 4, so it's probably a software problem. It's actually nice that when the game crashes the console doesn't freeze and you don't need to reboot.
It's a demo station, in a trade show in Europe, that already had Milan Games Week and Paris Games week, which means that that PS4 has probably been moved all across Europe and has worked almost 12 hours a day for three weeks. I'd say a crash is not much of a problem, especially because it could be very well the software's fault.
Funny. Someone disagrees with physics. :D
Or maybe he likes to play games in a vacuum. Who knows.
The previous title didn't, but that one was on PSP when the PSP was already considered dead in the west by publishers, so who knows.
Here's a lesson on physics:
remote game streaming is made of data traveling through radio waves.
Radio waves don't move at the speed of light unless they're in a vacuum, and you really don't want to play games in a vacuum.
So yes, there will be a minimal amount of delay, and there's no way around it. It's called realism.
Since that "almost" seems to be one frame at worst, that's definitel...
Oooof course mate. Keep telling yourself that if it helps you sleep at night :D
If you pause it frame by frame you can see at times it's one frame late. Which is still extremely impressive.
@Septic: well, in this case the Vita does almost nothing :D It's just displaying a stream. The real beast is the video capture/streaming chip on the PS4.
Ah, that flew right over my head lol.
Eh, showing the shiny graphics ain't really the purpose of the video, I'd say :D
You're describing most hack and slash games mate.
Yep. If they have guaranteed stock in their circular they'll have it, and since it's sunday already they should sell it.
lol, this is NOT an illegal method, silly :D
listen. I'm skeptical myself, but since when game informer has ever been credible on anything?
Especially when they spout that kind of hyperbole. I played the game, even if it was a few builds ago at Gamescom, and it had definitely very little to do with dialing numbers.
Clickbait is clickbait, and game informer has gotten good at it.
The video is 1080p. The output resolution of the game is 1080p. 900p does not look exactly the same as 900p upscaled to 1080p, so no. Nothing is misleading here.
Pretty obvious attempt to bank on the playstation hype to push topics that have really nothing to do with the console.
i'm not exactly sure how you got there, since no one compared PS3 cases to Xbox One cases.
@tuglu_pati: because it's demo software, not the final game.
