From what I've heard about SO, MS did go to Insomniac first and asked for a sequel, to which they said no. Maybe now that Insomniac is stating that they're willing to do it now, hopefully the powers that be will be down for a sequel...it would definitely be interesting to see if that does as well (or better) than the first one did.
I have to agree, Mad World is a classic. But I also liked the one they did for Lost Odyssey, with "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane.

Dude, this is a Gears game. Their usual trailers are always done like this. Gameplay is for demos. Cinematic teasers/trailers are more..."cinematic".
In the books, she was a soldier first, and then was given a desk job by the time the first game was out. And left the desk job by the time Gears 3 was out and became a Gear yet again. The sad thing is that she was one of the best Gears they ever had and they put her behind a desk.
The locust playing hopscotch with Burt Reynolds would be more of a sequel to Saints Row than Gears. Besides, it's not the "real" teaser trailer. That's coming later, at least that's what's stated in the article/tweet. This is just a little Marcus tribute.
Funny thing is someone replied to the tweet that the story was good but the gameplay sucked and ripped MS on the PC version, to which Adam Boyes replied "Don't be that guy". I love it. He's even calling out the haters. I remember Phil did this and people hated him for it, saying that those people aren't real gamers or something like that.

Well, it just continues the line that there is NO exclusive Xbox game this gen that is rated high on Metacritic. You will NEVER see an exclusive Xbox/MS game this gen that will be GOTY quality. Besides, the good reviews are from Xbox-centric sites only. None of the bigger sites liked it except IGN, which doesn't count cos their review was bought by MS.
There were a couple of original Xbox games that were interesting, but got cancelled. I think they got cancelled because neither of them were shooters. They were BC and True Fantasy Online, which sounded like it would've been Xbox's first MMO. There's a difference. This is M$ we're talking about. Sony may have shut down some studios, but they still had their major studios that made great AAA games. M$ doesn't have that kind of variety anymore. All their AAA studios make are shooters and one making a racer and that's it.
