I'd say that if a game is enabled on anything other than the original platform it is a form of emulation, unless of course it is an official port to another platform. :) I think thats how most people look at emulation!

Did anyone else think the sound in godfall sounded amazing? I am no audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, but that sound in Godfall... It felt so good!!! I might be just that game though. :D

Perhaps you saw my post 6 years ago? http://n4g.com/user/blogpos...

Nevertheless, it is still a "problem" I suffer from every now and then. I've realized that I am much more into true co-op, co-op campaigns than I was before. It still as fun to play games as in the old days when playing with others that way. The trouble now is to find games that actually allow co-op campaign. The enti...

I was just referring to the difference. I just assume that games using Asynchronous compute would benefit from having more ACE's :)

Well then the ps4 will have an advantage in that area when it arrives on the console. If I remember correctly, the Xbox One has 2 ACE's while the ps4 has 8 of them. (ACE = Asynchronous compute engine for those who did not figure that out)

I will buy this for ps4 no matter the price or time. I love Action/adventure games! There will be loads of games to play meanwhile!

OMG what? Lara Croft, pre re-boot, is not how every woman looks irl? I was about to leave my cave, and stop being gay, but nevermind!

Its a JPEG, that will happen with those pics eventually :P

@disagree: JPEG is a file-format that uses destructive compression. So why the disagree? :P

A reply to your second post:

I agree with this also. Sometimes you read about people who upgrade and for example use a dualcore-processor with something like a gtx 780. I waited a long time to upgrade so that the price/performance ratio would be optimal. I spent about 1000 euros on my new computer and got a i7 4790K, a new asus Motherboard for its overclocking features, an ASUS GTX 970 Strix edition, with an SSD, new monitor and a new powersupply (gold standard). That will la...

I agree. It is also very strange that a lot of people seem to think that it is nevessary to have the latest to play on highest settings. You should never buy the newest stuff. It isnt needed and the money is better spent on games. I recently upgraded after nearly 5 years. If you know what you are buying it will last.

I'm glad I recently bought a new comp. My gtx 970, i7 - 4790K will handle this awesomely :D

Well it is not impossible given the GPGPU capabilities of the ps4, but it doesnt matter. UC4 looks incredible!

The most important thing from this article is that the ps4 can handle 4000 ducks. It is of vital importance!

I totally agree! I did not buy it for the old gen because I knew I was gonna buy a ps4 and I was certain it would come to the next gen consoles. Pre-ordered this today and can't wait. Unfortunately I have also pre-ordered Far Cry 4, Assassins Creed Unity, Dragon Age Inquisition and LBP3. My head will explode due to all the awesome games that I have to play.

It would be to demanding to have it stream at 1080p 60fps. A lot of people doesn't have a connection that can handle that. Not to mention the fact that a lot of people have data-caps on their connections these days. So it is wise to keep it at 720p 30 fps.

Yes it matters. The higher the resolution the easier it is to combat aliasing.
