3DS is really too weak. Too many pixels and polygons are so obviously in gameplay it hurts. Id sell mine, but Smash and Pokemon. Plus i paid $249 because i got it launch day

Gamers buy game consoles. Nobody else. Its simple. While the XB1 has comparable specs to PS4 (especially considering other generations), now is the time to show games. Resolution doesnt matter, just show games. Good games. Games without 2d crowds and tree leaves. Those games.

Yes. there is. Nothing more to say.

PS3 and 360 are so out of date, no games should be cross gen. the systems are from 2005/2006. Its not like other gens

This hype is really annoying. Its the same game people! same game you played last year! remember that? yeah. its that. at 60fps. horray

That really isnt relevant. if you dont care about the game, dont click on the article.

The system kind of did fail. Nintendo generally releases most games at a rate of one every six months. after that period, they release a lot of games wthin a couple months of each other. Problem is, the 2D, 3D mario games have launched, and mk8, and i dont think any are impressive right now

I dont think TLOU will boost sales. Its a game that released so recently, people will probably buy it for ps3, not go and buy a new console just to play a game that is so recent. Remastered wasnt a bad idea, but hype for it is WAY too big.

Honestly, at this point the XB1 and PS4 are both good choices. One has a more stable online, one has better graphics. Take your pick!

Honestly, it seems rather pointless to criticize the console you have no plans on buying. If you own the system or plan on buying it, it can be constructive. If you dont own the system, you are not a gamer. just a troll trying to get a reaction.

When it comes to games like Destiny and the Arkham series, and especially the upcoming Bethesda games and Star Wars Battelfront I at least like knowing I can play them, and that is why Nintendo really hasnt done a good job at all recently.

Learn to read. i said none of the games interested me. I am not a hardcore nintendo fan any more, as Nintendo abondoned their core audience years ago. Most gamers dont think about Nintendo anymore, and Nintendo doesnt think about gamers anymore. Captain Toad? Splatoon? Yeah that really makes up for the past 6 years of dissappointment

I dont own every cod, i just knew people that bought it and i borrowed it or played split screen. i probably have played less than 30 hours of the series since World at War, mainly split screen

I honestly have felt that Nintendo has lost its touch. While many gamers disagree with this, I dont feel like Nintendo can recapture the magic of the GameCube days or earlier. Focusing on a core audience must be challenging, considering the Wii focused on casuals and it sold well. the problem is that the Wii U and 3DS try to appeal to both, but not fully making either side happy. Was 3D Land the quality of previous 3D games? What about 3D World? I dont think so. Maybe you do, but I lost faith...

In-Engine can never give a great representation of the graphical quality of a game during gameplay, especially during console game showings. Every developer wants their game to look amazing, and when the hype wears down, the reality isnt always up to levels to be expected. its not that games are downgraded, but cutscenes always look better than gameplay, in-engine or not

I think graphics can represent progression of gaming as a whole. while not tied to the quality of a game by any means, overall technological achievements can be best showcased with improved graphics. While many games are classics to this day, and graphical quality is never questioned when playing them, some games cannot age well. this makes it harder to enjoy some games 10-15 years later.

i would say art style does matter more than fidelity, but still. I personally think games need better graphics, and still are not to a point where graphics dont matter. until photorealism is achieved in any game that wants it, graphics will continue to matter to developers and gamers. progression of the industry as a whole comes from innovation and new technology. when vr becomes popular, graphics will matter like never before to allow full immersion

using one example, an anomaly, doesnt disprove my opinion. When playing a racing game, i feel immersion based upon graphics. during a fps, graphics help immersion. while it isnt the only thing that matters, if it didnt matter at all, devs would not put so much money into better graphics.
