Considering Disney (including all Fox and Marvel content) has announced they will stop releasing all disc media in Australasia, it show's how soon this will happen.
Makes sense if the Pro/Slim seperate disc drive model ends up hitting early-mid next year like rumoured.

FF14 while going still strong is in it's end game - this is just the draw out it's life and cashflow where they have been yet to do so.

To be honest this is the same issue with every FF since ps3.
I do make an effort to get into the world and finish all the side quests and main - i do enjoy the gameplay - but there's something very hallway simulator (extremely pretty, mind you) that leaves me lacking.
I will say that at least for 16 the sidequests do make a much richer world with their lore as opposed to something dumb like finding cats in 7R.

For those unaware, Online Trolls from Japan can be extremely hardcore in the sense that what would be fringe in the west is very publicly displayed on a normal platform - even more a pain in the ass than in the west.
Game needs better optimisation but it doesn't look as bad as people are making it out to be. Upscaling seems to be doing decent enough.
Requires more money, more staff and more time - I wonder if much of this is due to if having done so, the game would release later and likely be too close to FF7R-2.

Interesting that the Dark Souls Trilogy is back in the charts, with all those new PS5's in homes you would think the Demon Souls Remake would jump up also - it's still one of the prettiest current gen games and arguably outdoes the first two Dark games due to those updates.
