Don't buy, ive owned Elite series 1 and 2. Elite one breaks bumpers in no time had it replaced 3 times. And series 2 had stick drift after first week. Quality control is bad. Ive broken so many bumpers on these controllers because of their bad design that i've found my own solution. Cut a small nail to same length as the broken plastic split, jam it in and you will never have the problem again.
Series 2 was at launch period but not others. I completely agree with everything you said. The controller itself feels premium and has nice features that in itself is worth the price difference imo. But in my experience the durability is lacking from the otherwise stock ones. Customer support has never been an issue though. Been able to get a new replacement everytime but after upgrading to Series 2 and getting issues quicker than the older model i just got tired of the hassle of replacing so...
