Having played GTA IV (which in my opinion, GTA hasnt been fun since San Andreas), with its stupid "love/girlfriend" mini games, "clothes changing" system from hell, redundant missions....Sleeping Dogs was much more refreshing, fun to play. A new location, beautiful Hong Kong, Varied missions, good voice acting, (not sure where you thought it was bad ...buts thats your opinion), there is even a fightin...

The reviewer spent a third of his review talking about how the game didnt have good timing with the Japan tsunami and how it came out on a "chaotic year", did you remove points because of that??
If i wanted to read world news, i wouldnt read a Motorstorm review.
Basically - He could not review the online (big part of the game) and says the game overall was good, and uses exciting more than once about...

was just announced, and this splinter cell looked hot, maybe the excuse i was looking for to get an xbox.
i was waiting for an excuse to get an XBOX...that wont be it ...a bit disapointing to me...looks like any other game of that genre out there already...however Splinter Cell's presentation was pretty amazing...and that one, im looking for.

and had great reviews as well apparently, but dont bother playing anything in between that one and the UFC undisputed ;P
the new UFC game does not disapoint
for a very good game...
I was pleasantly surprised with this game...it really recreates the sport well, and even non-UFC gamers could enjoy it, however being a UFC fan helps ton enjoying this even more...
They just need to fix the little offline/online glitches and the game will be even more amazing.
man would i love it even more if we could have a 10 year season (or more!!!) so i could take my time to build my character...

Im all for "opinions" and bad reviews where they are due but when a website that reviews a game this badly to get "hits" , kinda affects it's credibility...
- "...worse fighting game of the year.." ?
- "...sluggish controls.." ?
- "...questionable hit detection..." ?
- "...no variation between fighters, and canned animations..." ?
OR simply those lame comments that scream /lrn2play

its not on par with GTA IV graphic wise, BUT for content and fun factor, it seems to be way ahead.
If you liked NHL 08, i would have to say yes, you do. Overall, its more balanced on defense and offense. Oh and "IF" you get a breakaway you can try to deke, but it's harder to get a breakaway this time around, (doesnt happen often, like in real life...), and goalies are much improved ( ..and can do great looking saves). These are the two big improvements over last year (besides the AWESOME be a pro mode)and the "replay" options.

At first i hated the demo, i was thinking, uh oh, here comes another "Juice" type of game again but then a friend came over and actually showed me what i was doing wrong with the controls...
they felt a bit loose swerving easily left to right...but after a few tries you get used to it and MAN does this game kick serious butt...we could not stop racing and drifting for H-O-U-R-S...
A must buy, its that simple.
