It's not just all about the money people have been removing mods from free site to stop people from taking them and putting them on the paid mod service, this whole thing pretty much destroyed a whole community because greed knows no bounds.
And now their are people actually making pirated copies of mods something a never thought I would never see.
If they wanted better mods they would give modders the 75% and for the love of god PC master race do not let this succeed.
valve and the publisher s get 75% of the profits it serves no purpose other than greed.
what an absolute joke in one day valve managed to destroy a community, I hope to god PC master race are smart enough to completely laugh at this idea and cause it to fail.

have you actually used mods? cause sometimes there are compatibility issues especially when multiple mods start being added. so you would pretty much be wasting money either way

the worst part is modders are not obligated to fix there stuff nor give back refunds, I don't expect this to take of when so many mods use stuff from other mods.
if you actually read the details moders gets 25% of revenue after you make a certain amount of money otherwise valve keeps it all and other messed up stuff.
steam and valve area a good example of why competition is needed I hope GOG can take them to task.
I commend these DLC nickel and dimming game companies, I've saved a lot of money.
