Call of Duty 5 and 6 Leaked!

Infinity Ward is scrambling this morning, in an effort to cover an apparent leak regarding the next installment in the Call of Duty series. In an email that was leaked to Sarcastic Gamer, late last night, our anonymous source says the developer is already well into the development cycle for Call of Duty 5: More Modern Combat and Call of Duty 6: Even MORE Modern Combat.

We had such huge success with the COD 1, 2, and 3, which were set in WW2, that we’re going to stick to that formula for COD 4, 5, and 6. Essentially all we have to do is make a few maps, add a weapon or two, and call it a sequel!

The memo went on to say that the decision wasn’t based solely on the success of the first three games in the series.

We feel left out. I mean EA is buying up every studio in sight, but they haven’t even called us. By adopting this new development strategy, we think we’re bringing Infinity Ward more in line with EA’s business model… So maybe now they’ll give us the time of day.

Call of Duty 5 is expected to release in mid-to-late March, with Call of Duty 6 scheduled for early May.

If this works, you can expect a new Call of Duty game approximately every 2 months thereafter.

EA issued a statement in response to the leak saying, “This is all well and good, but if they really want to be like us, they need to prove it by shutting down as much of their operation as possible, and kicking some really talented people to the curb. It might also help if they stopped paying their employees so well. Until then, we’re just not interested.”

hahahaahhahahahahahha

Message to all PS3/360/PC OWNERS: Infinity ward wants your money and they are gonna make sequel after sequel to get it.

Message from E.A: They just want to copy us, because we can release any old crap and everyone still buys it. Just add a couple of new things and we'll get some more $$$.

FAKE!!! Man this screams fake all over the place, for one infinity ward didn't make call of duty 3, and infinity wards parent company is Activision. (why in the world would they want EA to buy them) but I had a good laugh at it none the less..
