Most wanted games unlikely to be made ෴

This is my top 10 list, what is yours ? Note that the list doesn't include games such as Persona 5, FF15 or MGS5, as they are games that have either been announced or guaranteed to be made.

Some honourable mentions:

It's practically been announced for years. Everytime he's asked about it he acknowledges it's existence.

But anyway, I really wanna see a Dark Cloud 3 or a Collection. Battlefront 3 would be awesome, a new Tactics game would be cool too. I put well over 100 hours into the remake on the PSP. I got a lot of the cool classes that took forever to unlock. A new Chrono game would be good too.

Timesplitters 4
MAG 2
Starwars Battlefront 3
Knights of the old republic 3
Republic commando sequel (the FPS on Xbox & PC, was great)
A decent next gen Turok game (or just dinosaurs in general...)
A decent Harry Potter game that has some kind of RPG elements
A full 3D HD pokemon game, which takes the story back to team rocket, with anime cutscenes, multiplayer Colosseums
and all 649 pokemon with references to older regions
A decent next gen Tenchu

I have zero hope for these games, as most these days (other than Pokemon) wouldn't have a market big enough

There will never be a MAG 2 (obviously, Zipper Interactive is closed *sniffle*). However, there never was going to be. One of the things that I LOVED about MAG was the concept that game evolved, changed. Yes it was annoying to update every couple weeks, but the prospect of new gameplay, modes, weapons, maps, ect always won over my serious impatience. More "MAG 2.0" than "MAG 2". More games should follow this model. The devs over @ Zipper were always working to make the game better.

I agree, the updates that followed release made the game loads better. They added quite a lot. I still like to play the odd game of MAG every now and then, it's a game like no other.

Want to say a Front Mission title that uses fog of war, electric/cyber warfare and permanent death as well as squad based versus combat for online, but hey, I'd be asking that from Square.

Sad truth: the way game making is being looked at and done by devs and publishers doesn't really support the kind of innovation I was expecting in say the 90's.

I'd love a new Shadowrun, Lunar, Popful Mail, Snatcher, Sewer Shark, Rise of the Dragon, Super Dodgeball (I'd settle for an XBLA release), Fallout 4 (Yes I know it's coming but I want it NOW), A Final fantasy game that actually looks and feels like Final Fantasy and a relaunch of Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.

I really wish these did get remade somehow, but I agree they are highly unlikely. I'd love to see a new MDK game and River City Ransom HD.

Shenmue 3 all the way, no matter what i accomplish in life it won't be complete until I see Ryo Hazuki get his revenge! Never gonna happen though is it...*cry*

Any kind of Dragon Quest game (Western release of course) thats similar to 8: cursed king. That game was so much fun and they havent rly released anY at all outside of JP.

There is a Shadow Hearts 3, but it sucks compared to 1 and 2. It's Shadow Hearts From the New World. It's got a blond boy as the main character and a Native girl does the fusions but she does it via sacred spirits and such.

But I would love to see a new Final Fantasy Tactics game (not the Advance series since they suck by comparison), a new Valkyria Chronicles game on consoles (or make FFT have its style of gameplay), a new Chrono game, a new Dark Cloud game, a DBZ or Naruto RPG with their large world, but also a new Grandia game. Really there are just too many I would love to see and it's a shame that the huge back catalog of RPG's from the SNES/PS1 days aren't being looked at.

Oh, but above all, I want to see SUIKODEN 6 ON CONSOLES!! Screw the lame handheld crap Konami has been giving us. More Georg Prime thank you. Maybe a follow up series of how the nations are doing, or a hero team up game with all the Tenkai stars coming together, or a large True Rune war. So many epic ideas going to waste for more Metal Gear, Castlevania, and PES games. Not that there's anything wrong with those games, but it sucks when a studio with a large variety of options sticks to 3 main ones.

Chance are the only thing you're going to see in the way of a FFT will be Advance on a handheld if not iOS device. That's just how Square is now.

The only company who makes that kind of title on consoles nowadays is NIS.

Its not about money but tools. Square's going bigger and better, looking at CG, textures and polygons, and have forgotten everything about sprites. They're just too petty/lowly for them. Nevermind that most if not all of their best work happened when they had to work to deliver story plot and emotion from 8 and 16 bit games.

Microsoft renewed the Killer Instinct trademark this year, so chances are quite high that something regarding this brand will come. Either a remake for XBLA or something else.

There was a dbz rpg series on the gba which had exploration. I think it was called the legacy of goku 1 & 2 and also buu's fury.
Also i think there are a few naruto games where you can some exploring, one i can remember is naruto rise of the ninja for the xbox 360 and there were quit a few others with a world to explore(linear progression through the games).

i think there were 2 console rpgs on the gamecube Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.

Even though these games are not on the scale we would like, we cannot ignore the fact that they existed.

what i would like to see is they revamp the pokemon battle system to real time instead of turn base but and also manages to keep the same strategic depth as the original turn base system. I want this to be released on the wiiU where we can see it in hd graphics and destructible environments

To be honest, I don't see why any of these games should be made/remade. Except for KHIII which has already been confirmed. Sorry if I come off a little angry here.

Shenmue was way too expensive and unprofitable. And we got Yakuza now which is so similar it's pretty much the spiritual successor.

Killer Instinct was great, but KI Gold was awful. Let the series rest in our memories where it belongs. Bloody Roar was also terrible.

FFTactics stands on its own very well and should not be touched. And didn't we just get the Tactics Ogre Remake?

What's wrong with the PSP VC games? They're not console games because the first VC bombed.

The next three are completely unprofitable given what little money those series bring (anime games only cater to a specific fanbase that does not grow).

Fans pleaded and pleaded for Chrono Trigger 2. When they got it fans threw riots (on the internet). And Chrono Cross was a great game. Chrono Break is better left dead.

FFVII Remake... nope. Not opening that can of worms.
