This weekend's box office hit was not
only a great movie for Marvel Comic fans it was a great movie for Wii
fans as well. Iron Man is the story of a billionaire, genius,
playboy turned billionaire, genius, hero. So my question is if
you were a billionaire with more money than you could spend in a 100
lifetimes and a genius who has invented Artifically
Intellegent robots that serve as both workers and friends what
video game console would you own? The "high-end"
Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 with their amazing graphics or the Nintendo
Wii with it's intuitive controller and love for games that are simply
fun to play?
The answer is of course the Nintendo Wii.
When you go and watch "Iron Man" over the next few days be
sure to take special notice as the camera pans through Tony's mansion
and there on the stand under his flat screen TV is a beautiful
Nintendo Wii all by it's self. No PS3's or Xbox 360's not even
a DVD player for that matter, just a Wii. Apparently if you had
billions of dollars and an IQ that is almost as high as your bank
account the Wii would be the only source of personal entertainment
that you would need.
So I guess the question of "Where
does the smart money go when buying a video game console in 2008? has
been answered for us all." Hey, if Nintendo feels that the Wii
deserves a camio appearance in this season's biggest movie who am I
to argue?
"The Barcelona-based (Spain) indie games publisher/developer Abylight Studios and indie games developers Yakov Butuzov & Daria Vodyanaya, are today very proud and happy to announce that their turn-based retro-horror strategy/adventure game “Anoxia Station“, is now available for PC via Steam." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
The Outerhaven says: DOOM: The Dark Ages brings the series back to its original roots with solid gameplay mixed with a lot of demons to shred your way through in a bloody good time.
People who already have their hands on physical copies of Doom: The Dark Ages are warning that the full game isn't actually on the disc.
There's zero reason why this game couldn't be on disc it was a strategic move to not allow the game to be played after the servers go down
Yeah, Microsoft could've used two discs for the Xbox version and a proper PS5 disc for the game. However, they hate physical media now so the game is a skip. Even though I really love Doom
Kinda sad. For most people in the west it doesnt mather. But in other parts of the world the physical releases are crucial to have gaming in that Region of the world
All it does is make me less likely to get it at launch, just like Indiana Jones. I’ll pick it up when it’s far cheaper. I still haven’t even bought the Oblivion Remaster yet.
At the minute I still have a lot to play so it’s not like I don’t have anything else to play in the meantime.
It just annoys me that they either could fit it into a disc or they could start using newer discs that can hold more.
Lol, I never noticed it. You should have put a screen capture or something.
Good job falling for a cheap marketing ploy. OMG, the wii must be awesome if iron man uses it!! just joking around, but dont read into it too much...
Sorry I don't have a screen shot of the scene but if anyone does you should send me a link to it to put here.
Marketing ploy? Of course! Cheap? Maybe not.
