Well as most of you know, Final Fantasy 13 is now coming to the 360... and all i can say is wow. Nobody saw this coming. I mean when Square Enix was on stage the idea of a Xbox Final Fantasy was in the back of my head. However when Yoichi Wada walked out showing the new RPG's for the 360. I knew that Microsoft tried to reach the Japan market but with those games i thought it was a lost clause since those games don't look like it is going to make the 360 sales blow up in Japan. As the keynote was coming to an end i thought that a new Bungie game would be shown but i was wrong. Yoichi Wada walks back on stage and shows a trailer for Final Fantasy 13 and announced Final Fantasy 13 coming to the 360. My mind blew up...
Now here is the question, Do you think that Final Fantasy 13 is going to make the 360 sales blow up in Japan or is it going to flop? and do you think that the games arrival to the 360 make the game restricted due to DVD-9? Leave an comment.
A few years ago, Dredge surprised many with its blend of fishing mechanics and Lovecraftian horror, and fans might want to keep an eye on Out Fishing.
With the Battle of Super Earth bookmarking Helldiver 2's Heart of Democracy, it could be time to take a break and go back to the game's roots.

Speaking for myself... I pretty much stopped buying physical. Unless its some cool collector edition. I find it easier to just buy from the respective eshop.... if its not on a rental service that is.
Going into the 7th gen I was staunchly against the idea of digital game. Even the few PC games I played were physical. It wasn't until digital only games starting catching my eye that I changed my mind. Now I buy mostly digital these days out of convenience but also because I have too many phyical games. SNES, GG, GB, GBA, N64, Dreamcast, DS, 3DS, GCN, Wii, Wii U, PS1-5 and Switch. That's hoarders level of gaming right there. 🤣
Anyway digital sales in several parts of the world, including here in the US have been on the rise. Factor in the Series S being the go two model for Xbox owners it just makes sense for Microsoft to scale back in regards to physical media. That and Xbox published games stay high on PSN. 😆
Unfortunate really since I am an avid collector of physical on Nintendo consoles and I bought Black Ops 6 on disc.
its ps3 exclusive in japan, so its deffinately not going to help them there
yeah its not going to help in japan, and i dont think they will restrict the size to a dvd9, youll just have to change the disc on your system of choice, i wont.
