Day 8: ADVENTure Contest [Closed]

Congratulations to victorMaje for being our Day 7 winner. A total of 51 people guessed correctly the game in question, which was The Outer Worlds. Man, it's almost like this is getting way too easy for you folks. I really hope it doesn't start getting harder again...

Now, on to Day 8. Remember, DO NOT COMMENT WITH YOUR GUESS. Only PMs to ChrisKriN4Gle will count, and only the first answer provided. One entry per person.

Entries will be allowed for 24 hours after this blog is posted.

Rules and guidelines of this contest are at https://n4g.com/user/blogpo...

The eighth day has been revealed. Remember, the number of days you guess correctly will go towards the grand prize of a $250 gift card or similar payout.

The style sold it for me, and the brand of cigarettes made for easy validation. Now that you've pulled me back in with an easy day, RIP because I'm probably gonna fail hard going forward lol

ziggurcat2018d ago

That one was fairly obvious. This one isn't, but I think I got it.

Oh boy, I can't recommend Outer Worlds enough. It's incredible.

bunt-custardly2018d ago

Yep rather easy. Also "Remember, DO NOT COMMENT WITH YOUR GUESS." Does that mean in the PM or in the comments section or both? I assume if someone writes you a speech in the PM it's harder for you to go through them. Imagine everyone sending in an essay with their answer at the bottom. Don't envy that job. I suppose ctrl F helps.

monkey6022017d ago

God I hope not haha I don't write essays but usually have a few words like "Hi Christopher, Today's game is BLANK, Thanks bud!"

You have me paranoid now but I imagine Christopher would have cleared that up fairly quickly.

But just to be safe going forward from now 😂

victorMaje2017d ago

Hah thank you!
I’m only at 2/7 correct but I’ll keep going I like the challenge :)

monkey6022017d ago

Congrats!

I'm getting a kick out of the game of it this year

The 10th Rider2017d ago

Much more engaging and it forces you to look back on the releases that came out this year.

Wasabi2017d ago (Edited 2017d ago )

@The 10th

Is it games that came out this year?

Haha damnit, that means the drunken, half asleep answer I gave today is going straight in Mr KriN4Gle's waste paper basket...

Edit: Yeah, I guess I should have read the rules ....

monkey6022017d ago

Hahaha Sorry Wasabi but yeah.
2019 and Multiplatform are the requirements

Dirtnapstor2017d ago

Wow, this one is a total crap shoot. Could pin it to a 2018 release possibly. Looking forward to this answer.

The 10th Rider2017d ago

Same, I narrowed it down to three and had to guess between them. I'm hoping at least one of them was correct, because otherwise I am way off.

Gex Trilogy (Switch) -A Happy Throwback That Couldn't Be Any More '90s| NintendoLife

"Gex Trilogy is a happy throwback. The first game is a little clunky and occasionally laborious, but its sequels do better in their 3D expansion of its themes and idea. The main point of appeal is its connection to the period in which they were made. It’s full of comic quirks, zinging dialogue, and visual gags that scream MTV Generation. Across all three entries, the media hook and its tropes — from horror to Christmas to 1930s prohibition gangsters — work well to keep things fresh, fun and engaging.

That said, while there's a simplicity to the games themselves, the yesteryear technology and the sensibilities of many gamers may have moved on, making their baked-in fetch quests trying at times. Gex Trilogy’s value is bumped up by its invention and still very playable design aspects, but whether or not you can pit yourself through them really comes down to how much your nostalgic mileage varies, dude." - Tom Massey | NintendoLife
