Day 2: ADVENTure Contest [Closed]

Congratulations to Relientk77 for being our Day 1 winner. A total of 19 people guessed correctly the game in question, which was Wolfenstein Youngblood. The big clue? The swastika armband.

One thing I think people forgot about the contest guidelines, entirely available from https://n4g.com/user/blogpo... , is that the game was released in 2019.

Honestly, after sending my guess in, I realized two Wallenstein games released in 2019 and got worried that it was Cyberpilot instead of Youngblood, Well I much more confidant in my guess for today.

I havent played the game so I was unsure, but the picture on the right looked like a mock up of Friday the 13th which released in 1980, the same year Youngblood is set in so I went with it.

I should have just guessed. Wolfenstein was going through my head every time I looked at the image.

I got Wolfenstein right away based on the art style and the arm band in a picture that looked distinctly like propaganda. Once I double checked the 2019 thing, Youngblood was the obvious choice. They said, you may want to clarify what you mean by multi-platform since people are noting being thrown off by Cyber Pilot technically being multi-platform between PC and PS4. When considering that, it did make the first day a bit of a coin flip since the picture didn't distinctly scream one game or the other. I honestly forgot Cyber Pilot was even a thing, which certainly made my guess easier lol

Kader Kumpels isn't in Cyberpilot in this manner. It's even a collectible in Youngblood, but this was from the UltraVideo stand in Youngblood.

Hmm. I suppose it just comes down to the problem of whether or not someone has played the game in question then. That said, it still couldn't hurt to fully clarify what is meant by multi-platform. The current lines of thought around exclusives, console exclusives, and otherwise has really muddied up general understanding with everyone seeming to have a slightly different definition for multi-platform.

Multiplatform means released on multiple platforms. No further definition required. The point of the contest isn't to make it easier for people, but to make it a specific level of challenge. Part of that challenge is knowing the specific game to aid you in the decision, even if multiple similar games were released. Considering 19 people guessed correctly and absolutely no one guessed Cyberpilot tells me it's working as intended. I *could* make this easier, but that would defeat the purpose of the designed level of challenge in the contest itself.
