Madness broke out recently of a new PS3 jailbreak. Many people doubted it, and were all proven wrong. This just goes to show that anything can be hacked, and anyone who says otherwise is a fool. Now, let us see the advantages of this PS3 modchip...
1. Free games.
And now, the disadvantages...
1. Developers start to turn away.
2. No multiplayer.
3. Banned console.
Basically, anyone who does not care about the 1st party developers paycheck, and multiplayer on their games should get this modchip. And anyone who does care about the hard working developers, and enjoys not having their console banned should not support this modchip. Now, here is even more bad news.
Recently, this modchip that is hardcoded has been cracked by a single person and put up online for free. It is currently in testing mode, and not yet available to the public. You know what this means don't you? This means that if this person releases this to the public, and anyone can download the crack and put it on their usb, it will not cost them $120 to buy the usb in the first place, which in turn means there are going to be many people who are going jailbreak their PS3's for free.
Hopefully Sony forcefully updates everyones consoles before this free crack come out to places such as thepiratebay and demonoid, or the pirates have won this generation of consoles.
After decades of running an incredibly popular modding community site, Nexus Mods founder Dark0ne is passing control to new owners.
RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is not only a mouthful to say out loud, but it's also a remaster packed with meaningful quality-of-life
This means Mortal Kombat, Batman Arkham, and more franchises would then be the property of Sony.
[grabs popcorn] Wonder what the fans, who said MS would make every ABK/Zenimax game exclusive, will say about this?
Personally, i don't care. It's why i buy all platforms, so I don't find myself in these precarious predicaments.
Many people thought it happened but were all proven wrong.
You are wrong. The jailbreak usb stick is not a flash pen. It uses a PIC chip like in some of the XGameStation do it yourself console models.

SO, good luck downloading the 'crack' and making a piece of flash memory behave like a micro-controller.
