Friday Five; Notable Character Redesigns

We’re at a point in this generation where several companies are trying to reboot once popular franchises. Most of the time this also means that the main character needs a second look. We have a young Lara Croft and emo Dante coming in the near future but there is one even more recent. In honor of Max Payne 3 releasing this week and, more importantly, the new look Max is rocking, I’ve decided to take a look back at other beloved characters that have seen notable redesigns. Some have been good and some have been bad but it’s hard to criticize developers for trying something different.
