Diablo III was released today, but hey that doesn't mean you are going to get to play it. Plagued with sever crashing and maintenance, why are game releases sometimes awful?
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

Seems this is becoming the norm again. I do have to say though that back in the day I remember it taking like 10 minutes to get a game to work. This is after blowing in the cartridge and in the machine hoping it would work.
I almost never buy a game release day anymore just so stuff like this gets sorted out. EA is terrible about this
