"The PC has had a ton of amazing multiplayer experiences over the years. From being the best platform for shooters to being the only platform that can do MMOs and RTS properly, TheGamerAccess.com is here to count down the top ten multiplayer PC games. As always, the same rules apply: Only one game per franchise and what makes the list is a mix of fun factor and how popular it is or was."

"The Jyväskylä-based (Finland) indie games developer Act Normal Games today announced with great delight and thrill that their isometric post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure “Rauniot“, is now available PC (via Steam, GOG, and GMG." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
The game, which has launched in early access, has been in development for years with more than 3,000,000 wishlists on Steam.
"The Spain-based indie games publisher Firenut Games and Granada-based (Spain) indie games developer Trigger the Monster, today announced with great joy and thrill that their dark fantasy adventure/management game “Search of Light” (AKA SOL), is now available for PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
I don't think this list has enough Valve games.
Not saying Valve is bad, list just needs more variety.
Personally I dont see the hype behind Starcraft, Always thought Company Of Heroes was a superior RTS.
Killing floor somewhere :)
Starcraft 2 is, to me, hands down the best, most dynamic, and well rounded multiplayer experience around
also, if you guys get a chance, Blacklight Retrobution is AMAZING and free!
LoL is great, BF3, Arma 2, tribes asend, battleforge, tera, lotro, there are just so many incredible pc games, who needs next gen consoles, it's always next gen on pc!
I am shocked to see that Tribes: Ascend didn't make the list, while some decade old games and games with luckluster multiplayer are still there.
Tribes Ascend is a fresh and amazingly looking free to play game, with some of the deepest and most balanced hardcore gameplay you can get.
It's the closest experience on the PC to a Halo game (outside Halo of course), but with added class based gameplay on top that puts it on a completely different level.
Other than that, the list is mostly meh: Minecraft, Total War, BF3, Magic the Gathering are a few other notable omissions that fit such a list better.
