With its bright colors, collection of odd obstacles and imaginative tracks, Joe Danger looks like a cartoon. In the early stages, a giant mole half sticking out of the ground explained some of the controls to me through a speech bubble (why does a mole know more about motorcycles than a stuntman? Not that it matters, but I didn’t find that to be strange until now). In at least one of the courses, there is a billboard for a “Tea Rex.” The ad features an animated tyrannosaurus that sports a black suit and tie and wields a pink tea kettle.

What an amazing story, Joe Danger was a fantastic game and hearing about these kinds of stories makes me much happier than hearing adults bicker back and forth about which animations a game is re-using and the amount of pixels on the screen.
