The first-person shooter is a well worn genre at this point; in the decades since we first roamed the corridors of id's creations, shooters have both evolved immensely, and stagnated. It's at this point that many cry out for a "game-changer," or the the one game that will revolutionize shooters. Hard Rest takes a different route.
