Will Halo 4 be the Hook for the Next Xbox?

Halo 4 is poised to be one of the largest Xbox 360 releases of 2012 and the first in a new trilogy of Halo games.While it will certainly be an exciting event, it could very well hold a long-term and devious plan for helping to usher in the next era of Xbox hardware. We know that Halo 4 is simply the first in a 3-part story arc, one that will likely take a few years to complete. Thus it is very likely we’ll be seeing Halo 5 or possibly Halo 6 on the next generation Xbox system. With all the hype and anticipation for Halo 4, it could very well be the hook to get players to put up the money to buy new launch consoles for the next Xbox system to… *ahem* finish the fight.
