RobotGeek – Interview with Dan Amrich
Dan Amrich is a legend of the videogame journalism world. Since he started his career as a professional games journalist in the early 90s, his worked has appeared in Wired, PC Gamer, Blender, Guitar World, and Time out New York. You may also be familiar with his work as a Senior Editor at GamesRadar, Official Xbox Magazine, and GamePro; Executive Editor of GameSport and Digital Diner; and Editor-in-Chief of World of Warcraft: Official Magazine. He is also the author of PlayStation 2 for Dummies, and the recently published Critical Path: How to Review Videogames for a Living. In 2010 he joined the team at Activision where currently works as a Social Media Manager and host of the weekly One of Swords Podcast. In addition to all of this, he continues to write and perform videogame-centric music with his band, Palette Swap. We recently had the honor of sitting down with the man, the myth, and the legend himself to discuss life, his new book, and how attractive he finds Cliff Blezinski.
