Recently, I was lucky to partake in the very first Guild Wars 2 beta and what a thrill it was. I haven’t played the franchise before, but all I have heard were great things and it’s one of the most risking IP’s on the market. Unlike most MMO’s, Guild Wars isn’t a subscription service and depends solely on in game player purchase. Besides the subscription model, the development team at NCSOFT is making a number of key changes to the MMO format that makes it immediately intriguing.

Guild Wars 2 is NOT looking to clone WoW, Compete with WoW, or even be a WoW killer! BUT it is shaping up to raise the Fantasy MMO bar up several notches.
Guild Wars 2 has just taken a new approach to MMO's and is targeting an entire different audience than the WoW gamers.
I'm really looking forward to GW2 cause so far it just seems to do everything right and in a fresh new approach to the Fantasy MMO genre!
WoW is an awesome game but it's just not for me BUT GW2 is like the complete opposite of WoW and I can't wait to call off sick just to get 24 straight hours of GW2 gaming in.
I had high expectations for GW2 going into the BWE and it lived up to them :) This game and D3 are gonna take over my life for the next few years I just know it!
