Achievements On The Rise

Console Domination writes: One thing is for sure, Achievements sell games. Deny it all you want but there is plenty of evidence from many sources that continues to prove that gamers just love achievements. Many gamers have been known to refuse to buy DLC for example if it offers no extra achievement point value. I would have to say I too have been in this category and have avoided certain DLC’s that have failed to reward me as a gamer. Take Forza 4, heaps of DLC and car packs, but not one single achievement, so that is a no buy for me.
