Guy builds ‘PS4’ from ‘rumoured’ specs list. PS4 chugs.
After the supposed leak of the Playstation 4 hardware specs, there has been much pontification about the seemingly low specs of the hardware in comparison to people's expectation of what "The Real Next Generation" could mean to consoles.
An enterprising geek with mad electronics skills at the Official Playstation Magazine has lashed together a 'PS4', albeit in self-build PC kit form from the rumoured specs leak. Pitting the machine against fairly mediocre outdated PC hardware, and a current PS3, the findings aren't anything to write home about. In fact if the PS4 is anything like this underpowered, we're in for a world of disappointment.
