When Microsoft revealed the Kinect it was clear who their intended audience was – anyone but the core gamer. Still, many gamers including myself invested in the device and hoped that our decision would eventually pay off. It’s been nearly two years since the Kinect’s release, and while there have been a couple of notable releases, nothing thus far has made a case for the device’s existence. Along comes Diabolical Pitch, an Xbox Live Arcade title developed by Grasshopper Studios and the infamous Suda 51 that proves that the device is capable of genuine game experiences that would not otherwise be possible. The game does have a few shortcomings and has the length one would expect from a $10 title, but what it manages to prove in the brevity of its visit is invaluable.
Leviathyn.com | You know what they say about games, right? For every good one that releases, two bad ones crop up. There are plenty of those to choose from. These are the worst games of 2012.
Ian Fisher writes: For the third installment of Six Months Later I thought it would be worth wild to look at Diabolical Pitch and see if it’s truly one of the better games not only released for the Kinect but created by the world renowned team at Grasshopper Manufacture.
Is this a diabolical game?

"As said, most of the time the controls work well, when they don't however (which would be about 2% of the time) it proves incredibly frustrating. It is never clear with Kinect titles how many of the control issues faced are down to the technology. In my room I could only play at night as the direction of the natural lighting prevented Kinect from seeing me. Similarly to close and too far from the sensor caused a problems."
