If all these Kickstarter games announced lately aren't any good when released... many people are going to be pissed.

I prefer to wait and see if these games are any good, before supporting the developers.

I'm in the same boat as I'm afraid that some games might let down a lot of their fans. But man there is no stopping to these Kickstarter campaigns. Each and every day there is a new campaign for a remake or sequel to a classic game.

The way I see it, if there was a game announced by a big-name developer like Ken Levine, Shiguru Miyamoto, Nomura, Kojima, etc., people would sit up and pay attention. This is no different. These games are being developed by industry vets. There's no real reason not to have faith that they'll turn out ok.
