Video games have often been admonished for not having enough diversity; civil-rights activists have correctly noted that their protagonists tend to be caucasian heterosexual men. In recent years, developers have begun to correct this, offering minority protagonists, along with the option to choose your character’s sex, or have homosexual romantic subplots.
Yuji Horii may have accidentally confirmed a Chrono Trigger remake at Comicon in Naples. Eyewitness accounts suggest the beloved JRPG could be returning in HD-2D form.
I'm still skeptical of HD-2D, and still want them to fix remaining foibles in the current Steam version. At any rate I've been seeing online that this rumour has been debunked
I would jump for a remake of Chrono Trigger then hopefully a remake of Chrono Cross. I wish Xenogears and the Xenosaga trilogy also got a remake or a remaster.
I am surprised it hasn’t been done already. It’s widely considered as one of the best RPGs all time. I’ll take it for sure. I want a Vagrant Story remake as well
Dragon Ball staff reveal how Akira Toriyama created one of Chrono Trigger's most memorable characters as the RPG celebrates its 30th anniversary.
There are a bunch of amazing video game genres. A genre that is loved by many is JRPGs. So, let's talk about 10 JRPGs that deserve a remake.
Throw in Arc the Lad, Grandia, Legend of Legaia, Galarians, Xenosaga, Ar Tonelico.
I would even settle for these games being brought to modern consoles.
Personally, I prefer to buy all the "remasters" of classic games on Switch so I can play them @work and on the bus.
I haven't played Parasite Eve since the 90's and I'd love to again!
