DSOGaming writes: "A lot of PC gamers want their games on Steam and even though Microsoft’s Flight free-to-play game has been available for a while, it has just hit Valve’s distribution service. Naturally, the game is free-to-play and can be played as soon as you finish downloading. However – and as you may have expected – it comes with additional DLC that will cost you around 30 euros."
Duuro says: "Microsoft Flight: A perfect landing or a grounded take off?"
To understand exactly what went wrong with Flight, one needs to understand the series’ development history. Many aspects of the Flight Simulator engine were gradually improved, seeing advances with every release, being built upon the previous game little by little. Indeed, the last public release of the traditional Flight Simulator engine was a long descendant from the original Microsoft Flight Simulator release in 1982.

Microsoft Studios has released a new update for free-to-play simulator Microsoft Flight; game owners can download the update on Steam now. This update fixes a crash and addresses a Windows 8 compatibility issue.
