Journey was one of the best games I've played this year. I enjoyed every second of it. I've beated it three times and still want to play it again. Such a great game.

I'm your typical FPS/TPS hack n slash action junky. I told myself last year that it is time to start giving these unique games a try, and I am absolutely thrilled that I gave Journey a shot.

The atmosphere, the sound design, the music and story were amazingly synergistic. And the fact that the story is left up to YOU for interpretation allowed me to actually look at those short storyboard cutscenes, and depict the events that unfolded in the past. I don't want to spoil what I thought the story was about, but even if I did, I'm sure others would have slightly different view points. That to me is a huge plus. Everyone can take something unique from the game.

The last part that truly struck a right note with me was the coop. On my first play though I tried to stay solo as much as possible, little did I know that by the end of the game I had encountered about a dozen other players. On my next playthrough though, someone caught up with me with a giant cloth scarf, and I inherintly knew that this player knew the game well, and sure enough we stuck together. This player took me to hidden locations, and helped me to expand my own scarf. There was a unique happiness when we accomplished goals together, and a quick sense of panic if we separated. But nevertheless, we completed the Journey together, and it was unlike anything before it.

TL/DR
Journey is absolutely incredible. There is nothing quite like it.
