BF3 Patch 1.04 Problems For Faction Weapons, Nerfing Of Guns Unfair?

Techtorial: It appears the new patch for Battlefield 3 today provides some problems for players like switching of faction weapons or, the unfair nerf treatment for some guns. Details on this report.

People are going to wine about this game no matter what.Im glad they took away extra mags for guns that dont need it so silly sitting there shooting 200 rounds plzz.The game is just fine.Played a few games and love it more then before especially the 5 flags on wake island.I think DICE did right on this patch and was worth the wait.I know my friends and I just love the clan battle option and the rent a server.Now all we need now is the dlc.

If they're making the game more realistic then by all means, I don't mind. People will complain. In reality, some weapons are made better than others.

I haven't gotten to be able to play the new patch yet but the weapon faction thingy has been around for me ever since the beginning. I just manually switch. It's not too hard to just play with that gun for one life.

Too bad they did nothing with the PS3 input lag. Traded my copy today at Gamestop because they had 50% more trade in for now.

They did. They added the function to disable AA. Apparently it works for some people. I can't try it because input lag doesn't affect me.

They fixed the input lag with the option to disable Anti-Aliasing.

I've tried it for myself and there's definitely a difference.

Sorry that you are lost in the clouds Fylus, but if you actually played and or tested their so-called fix of smoke and mirrors then you might be more educated. But then they say ignorance is bliss so things might not be so bad for you.

I have indeed been playing and testing it out for a few hours now and there is definitely a significant lack of lag compared to before. Sorry you guys seem to still be havinh troubles with it, but the point is, DICE still gave us a method of reducing it. Better than nothing

Shame you weren't literate enough to read the part of my comment where I said that I have played with the AA disabled. You know, seeing as you thought I didn't.

Do yourself a favor and research it and you will find out that the AA fix doesn't affect input lag at all. As measured on screen with the AA on and off it is the exact same as before.

90% of all the people in this game are just sniping pussies! You sit in the back and hide. You use mavs to get kills because you also suck at sniping.

This is my favorite game and I win 90% of my games because one team has no idea what they are doing. They're pussing out in the back and getting the odd kill. GROW A PAIR AND COME AND PLANT A CHARGE!! COME AND TAKE "A,B,C, or D"

And don't even try to tell me that you're helping your team if your sniping.

If, and when, I lose it's because dudes on my team are of climbing towers and sniping, hiding in the bushes ten miles away, trying to ride their mavs and not doing anything to help me in the trenches.

Im on PS3 and hoping to actually find servers with more skilled players, only for the reason of making myself better. With the ability to rent a server now Im guessing this wont be a problem.

I'm missing guns, PS3 locks up, unlocks are now locked again, my kits switch guns randomly.

BF3 could be a great game but the truth is I find it more frustrating than fun most of the time.
