So all other games have dynamic quests that change the world as you do them.

This is the worst beta coverage I've ever read. Its like he didn't even play the game. No mention of all the revolutionary things Anet is doing, Like scaling levels, death of the trinity, and the intricacies of cross class comboing.

Its obvious this dude hated the game before he even sat down. If you are interested in the game read other reviews. This one is trash.

Yeah it vasty undermine the changes as something minor .

The so called minor difference is what makes it night and day between GW2 and th cookie cutter wow clones , and wow itself .

Also another mistake from the preview , GW2 isnt free to play , but B2P (buy to play) . It's not just semantics as the difference are tremendous in the philosophie . A f2p WILL NEED to amke up for the lack of subs via heavy focus on microtransactionsa nd in plenty cases even forcing a need for those onto the players . It can be of multiple variety ... like making it hard , slow and painful to level and compete without the paid items (like pangya)

Guild wars mostly only need the game's original purchase . The micro transactions are only minor stuff you can easily ignore .

Agreed, the guy clearly isn't worthy of GW2. Seriously his article is so full of fail it hurts, I feel dirty that I gave the punks site a hit ughhh!
