Heartcore Gaming's Sander takes a look at how well PS2 classic Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater holds up on the Nintendo 3DS. The handheld's features add so much to the game that this is a clear winner over the version included in the MGS HD Collection for PS3 and Xbox 360.
But the 3DS is so compelling to me. I think Nintendo will allow 3DS owners to use their 3DS device, as a Wii U controller.
That would be a very cool development. Nintendo has always tried to incorporate their handhelds into the consoles. Think of the Gameboy converter for SNES and the GBA link cable. Sadly they never really seem to work out, so if they can combine the Wii U with the 3DS that would rock!
I've never been a big fan of these games, but I do like the idea of more quality/well-known titles moving to the 3DS.
I cant wait to get this game. I did have it on pre order but gf got me a psv for my bday so thought ide get through the games i got with it and ill pick mgs for the 3ds later on as this is the only mgs game ive never played and looked really good.
How can you give this terrible port a 88? Anything higher than a 7, your lying to yourself!
6.5/10 for me...
Both Peace Walker on PSP and Snake Eater 3D are supposed to be 20 fps...why is that Snake Eater 3D looks like it's sub 20 fps all the time.... cut scenes are picture and picture!
