5 Game Franchises That Need To Die

5. Call of Duty

I’m going to start off by saying functionally Call of Duty is above average compared to most other shooter franchises. The gun physics, and realistic animations are great; the gameplay aspect is good. They are however artistic derivative. I have many times called attention to the dangers of annualized franchises, and Call of Duty is one of the worst offenders.

4. Final Fantasy

Once of of gaming’s most beloved franchises. Final Fantasy is now a joke. Actually the JRPG genre in general is in shambles, and yet another Final Fantasy game is not going to fix anything. If Square Enix wants to save the JRPG genre it’ll be with something new, not another Final Fantasy game.
