Let's face it: 2007 was a bumper year for gamers, no matter what platform or genre you're into. But the New Year is a time to look forward, and all signs indicate that this year's going to be even better. Here are the 10 games Yahoo is most anticipating in 2008, from Grand Theft Auto to Fallout 3, complete with the hottest video clips for each one.
Gary Green said: You’ll be forgiven if you haven’t heard of the Ar Tonelico trilogy. The previous two games arrived so late in the PS2’s life-cycle that they simply went unnoticed. While most were tinkering with their shiny new PS3s, Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia and Ar Tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica were being ‘returned to sender’ by your local Game stores. Luckily, you won’t need to have played them to understand and appreciate this third and final chapter, Qoga (pronounced k-yoga) tells the story of a racial war between humans and Reyvateils, a breed of biologically produced female cyborgs capable of reproduction, while still having a digital mind.
Oh my god. I kinda wish this would get a remaster on PS5, it would be awesome. One of my favorite games on PS3.
That and 3D Dot Game Heroes. It's a shame that some stuff is stuck on PS3.

Leaving out Killzone2 and Little Big Planet and putting in Halo Wars just because it has Halo in the title. GAY. Killzone 2 and LBP are gonna pwn gaylo whores.
Pretty good list but the truth is that there are far more superb and highly anticipated games for 2008 than 10 or even 20.
2007 was amazing for games but 2008 has the chance to top even that.
man there a lot of "top ten anticipated" posts from websites who no-one really cares about i mean come on yahoo games- seriously. N4G give us some real news not just some link to a website who thinks that some gay expansion pack for a reeeeeeeeeeaally gay game should be on of the most anticipated games of 2008
I'm not sure if you could count Spore and FFXIII. Most anticipated defiantly, but coming out in 2008 not so definite.
edit: well they aren't.
I am saddened that Silent Hill V did not make that list.
It never makes a "most anticipated" list EVER but people still run out and buy any sequel in droves when it hits the shelves. A game that never gets any hype that continues to do so well....
Darn you mainstream media!
