Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, developed by Idea Factory and Compile Heart, is thinly coated with good ideas that sparked my interest. A unique and rewarding battle system, as well as a whimsical narrative setup, floats at the top of this highly eastern RPG. On the surface it has potential, but digging deeper reveals the unwanted baggage. Unbearably repetitive quests, recycled visual assets and a cast of characters that drag along some of the most awkward cutscenes in recent memory make the core of this game sully any positive impression the window dressing established
So many great games, so many franchises saved by developers revisiting exactly what it is players want. Hopefully, other developers wallowing in mediocrity can look to these games as blueprints for what they should do going forward.

Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "Hyperdimension Neptunia is huge. It’s a massive series that covers tons of games, all of which are sort of connected? Though also not really, because quite a few are spin-offs and non-canon. It’s a lot to take in, to be sure. With Megadimension Neptunia VII on the horizon, we here at Michibiku felt like we should offer an overview of the main series’ installments."

Not at all a neptunia fan , but i can already smell a BS review score .
Why is this a "BS review score?" I'm just wondering - why the negativity toward the review if you haven't read it?
The second game really was ass. The first game was ok but this game just ruined everything.
