"There is always a feeling of satisfaction when slicing and dicing hundreds of enemies in a video game. Whether you’re doing it to get passed a point in the games story or you enjoy the feeling of being the only badass on the map. While others may see it as boring and repetitive, we all can’t help but search for a game that makes us feel this way and with Dynasty Warriors Next on the Vita; this is one of those games. A long running franchise known for being a button mashing type of game, Dynasty Warriors makes its way to the PlayStation Vita in hopes to entertain fans of the series or grab some new ones with its hack-and-slash type gameplay, strategy based elements, while introducing new controls with the help of the Vita’s front and rear touchscreens. Koei tries to mix things up in Dynasty Warriors Next and in a way they succeed, but then I started to realize something…I’ve been doing the same thing for hours."
