Mari0 developers talk the week before release, the aftermath, and what’s next
Xbigy Games' Kamran Draeger writes:
"A while back, indie studio Stabyourself released one of the greatest video game mashups ever to be released for free, Mari0. Recently they announced that fans would be receiving a Special Edition of the Super Mario/ Portal crossover, bringing more hats, a new final boss, an updated campaign and online multiplayer… and more hats."
DSOGaming writes: "This is something I’ve been really looking forward to. The amazing mashup of Super Mario and Portal, called ‘Mari0′, has just been released. Developed by Stabyourself, Mari0 is a complete from scratch recreation of Super Mario Bros. with a focus on perfectly imitating the feel the 1985 classic gave us. And this time around, Mario has a Portal gun that will help him solve the new puzzles that are introduced to the game."

I dunno, I couldn't find one when I checked it out though. No worries, went and googled it afterwards. Seems like an interesting concept to say the least!

Sounds like it will be a fun time killer. Will try it out when they release it.
Honestly, I dunno if "releasing a game" counts as putting a file online, but still, okay port (Missed some interaction that was there in the original, but still definitely solid! Good thing it worked out for them and they still aren't in court, too, heh! :D
I still am kinda worried about my game being released and Activisions lawyers knocking on my door...-shivers-
Mari0 is freaking awesome. Seriously, huge props to the developers for all of their hard work. It's really amazing.
