Report: Next Xbox 2013 Launch “Confirmed”

European gaming site MCV is reporting, "Microsoft has been telling partners that the Next Xbox will NOT include a disc drive."

Anonymous sources allegedly tell the site as much, and also cite the "strictest non-disclosure agreement" they've ever seen.

The report goes on, alluding to "compatibility with some sort of interchangeable solid-state card storage", though contextual details are scarce.

MCV also throws a "confirmed" on a 2013 launch for Microsoft's new console and reiterates the chances for a showcase at this year's E3.
