Dali Dimovski of SideQuesting.com writes "When the Playstation Vita neared release, Gamestop announced a terrific “Buy Two Get One Free” sale on the console’s software. Target, Best Buy and Amazon followed suit soon after, as did even the mom & pop stores. Was this a Sony initiative? Was it a domino effect of retailers? Whatever led to it, it worked. And it worked extremely well."
A relic of its time or a buried treasure from the past?
I was really hoping this would have made it into one of the collections. Like how they did with the GoW PSP games.
I loved this game. It was like an extension of the first one. Why haven't we gotten an HD release yet?
Sony should have tried harder to support the Vita. It ended up just a solid emulation machine that happens to have a handful of classics.
I really like Uncharted:Golden Abyss on ps vita it would be dope if they remaster it for PlayStation 5
As we come to the end of 2021, let's take a look back as we celebrate many anniversaries that are up and coming next year.
Uncharted Golden Abyss originally pitch had plans for a "Mafia Wars" like multiplayer, and its original expected budget was at $13.5 million.
I remember buying this and the Vita day one in 2012. That was almost ten years ago, damn.
somebody link me to an insanely good deal for a WiFi Vita and 16 or 32gb memory card bundle. i want a Vita, but i'm not getting ripped off for the card prices, especially when i have to buy games too.
Buy 2 get 1 free owned me (in a good way). I ended up getting 4 games, a 16gb card, and a case for my WiFi version. And now...I am broke, but I am glad to say that my money was well spent. I have not touched my console at all. I mean for a handheld to do that is powerful. I remember when I bought my 3DS and although the system is nice, it did not have the same impact that I got from the Vita. It was more like "play 3-6 Mario Kart races online and stop to play Battlefield 3." Congrats to Sony for their success on the Vita. Never have I spent so much money on launched game system. May you continue to grow.
Brilliant or desperate? Who has launch sales.
